Larry Taylor, sponsored by the neighborhood nonprofit group BUILD, is doing five Light the Night shows on weekends in June-July 2018 in a small West Side playground, Hubbard Park. These free, all ages shows are aimed at bringing generations together for a fun and peaceful evening. That's what the blues does, y'all! At the first program June 30, Larry invited young rappers to come to the stage and do their thing at the end of the show. The merry band included the mighty West Siders Ice Mike on guitar, Wes Side Wes on drums and also Laurance Glasser on bass and Barrelhouse Bonni on keys. See Austin Weekly News and VIDEO HERE
